PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS

All efforts have been made to depict descriptions, details and photographs as accurate. However please note some colours and tones may differ slightly between computer monitors.

Measurements are approximate.

CARE

Gentle hand wash with warm soapy water is recommended.

Due to the nature of hand made ceramics, over time pieces may change. Harmless cracks may appear and matte glaze surfaces may absorb food/drink stains more readily. Please consider these as perfect imperfections that add to the story of your object. However markings can be removed with the help of magic eraser sponge if desired.

SUSTAINABILITY

Our approach to sustainability is ever evolving to make our practice better for the environment.

Small batch ceramics
Every Pinchipotto piece is one-of-a-kind and handmade in a small studio in East London, using hand building techniques. Careful consideration is taken into every piece that gets fired to ensure it is something worthy of coming into the world.

Clay
All unfired clay is constantly recycled and reused in the studio. Fired clay is repurposed and recycled (for example, for use in the bottom of flower pots for drainage).

Water
Rather than a running faucet, we only use a small basin of water each day during the making process.

Packaging
We are committed to using recyclable cardboard boxes and eco-friendly packing materials. A lot of our packaging is already on its fifth life having been reused and reused again so if you do receive your pieces in non-recyclable materials, it is because we are trying to reuse packaging we have rather than throw it away.

Marketing Material
Our business cards and postcards are made by MOO who use eco-friendly paper stock made of recycled cotton t-shirts.

Transport
We deliver our pieces to the kiln using public transport.

Green Energy
We are happy to say we have a contract from green energy providers.
